Street Fighter IV character videos - Dan takes the spotlight

With comical, lackluster moves, a guido-like smirk on his face, and a Hadou-ken with a fingernail’s range, Dan is perhaps the biggest joke on Street Fighter. But for Street Fighter IV (PS3, Xbox 360), it looks like Capcom turned the jester into a legit killer, although much of the Dan-antics we’ve come to love are still there.

I love this Dan even more. He looks like he’s a bit overweight, walks like his gut’s too heavy, and needs two heaves to throw you down. He’s got a mean-looking super attack, and a hilarious facial expression at 1:18 to show that it hurts.

PS3’s Service Mode JIG Set-Up File leaked

Another item which is not supposed to be out for public consumption has leaked out to the Internet: the JIG install setup folder for the PS3. Before you go gaga over this exploit, do take not that it’s actually pretty useless without the necessary related software. And since this is illegal, sorry but you’re not getting it from our site.

We do have a screenshot as well as information, though, if that would appease your curiosity. For one, it’s been said that the leaker is one such hackerpointer. As for the included files:

  • Lv2diag.self: crashes on a Debug console, likely used for lv2 diagnostics.

Microsoft sold 28 million Xbox 360s by end of 2008

From reuters.com:
[QUOTE]
Microsoft Corp sold 28 million units worldwide of its Xbox 360 video game console through the end of 2008, expanding the Xbox’s lead over rival Sony Corp’s PlayStation 3 console in worldwide unit sales, the company said on Monday.

Xbox 360 product management director Aaron Greenberg said 2008 “was our biggest year ever in Xbox history” despite a sluggish global economy that’s battered U.S. retailers this past holiday season.

Rising unemployment and tighter credit have dented U.S. consumers’ purchasing power and most retailers have posted dismal sales results in recent months.

Microsoft said global unit sales of the Xbox 360, which was launched about a year before the PS3, outpaced its rival by over 8 million units at the close of 2008.

PSP homebrew - PSP Sock and Awe

There’s a new President making his way into the oval office, but will you miss the outgoing prez? Now here’s a homebrew game that even the Democrats will want to get their hands on: PSP Sock and Awe! It’s simple: hit poor ol’ George with as many shoes as you can in 30 seconds. Strongly reminds me of a Bush presscon in Iraq, but unless I’m much mistaken, that was the inspiration behind this game.

LittleBigJacko struts his stuff

LittleBigPlanet has a new king - LittleBigMichaelJackson, or as I would rather call him: Sacko. Watch as ol’ Sackboy here struts his stuff and gets down to the beat of two of Jacko’s biggest hits - Beat It, and Thriller. This has to be the best Sackboy anything that I’ve posted, hands down to Harold Vancol who put this up on YouTube!

I couldn’t keep myself from smiling and laughing as I watched the little guy dancing, with backup dancers to boot! The adorable sack doll from Media Molecule sure can dance. Anyway, I’m sure you’re itching to see what the heck I’ve been babbling about, go on then.
